Did you know you can grab your WordPress blog’s database with OpenOffice base, and easily handle all your blog post. This is an excellent way to backup your blog, and reuse the content, but there are many other ways to use this.

You can use OO Base to customize the look of the blog posts, and their layout on the page, so you can print them out. This means you will not have to rely on any software you don’t already have for this task. Printing out copies of your blog could be a great Internet marketing idea.

It doesn’t stop there though. The flexibility of OpenOffice ensures you can access your blog’s database in any other OO application after importing it with Base. You could for example easily insert a post into a writer document you are working on, or use one as a slide in Impress.
